Net casino roulette – Thread: Re: Can$ 35 profit in the nick of time!
Monday, January 26th, 2009brThread: Re: Can$ 35 profit in the nick of time! brThere’s no fooling the game of roulette. Choose a different bid strategy, pick your favourite numbers, or hire a trained monkey to throw chips randomly onto the table. The house edge remains constant at .0526, making winning over the long term impossible regardless of strategy. In fact, this is one of the few table games in the casino that doesn’t reward strategy AT ALL (with the exception of simply not betting on the basket which is the numbers 0, 00 and 1-3 and only pays 5-1), since every possible betting combination pays out with the exact same house edge. If you are playing the French version of Roulette, the house edge does shrink slightly due to the lack of a double-zero, but a house edge certainly remains and dooms the player over the long run. I only watch roulette, and never play. And the only reason I watch is for that guy who will be dispensing valuable information about which way to bet, or what numbers are due to come up. It’s usually this same guy who has the little tracking card to record all the old numbers too. It’s pure entertainment value to watch these guys blow their life-savings. You’d think that they would want to take a basic Stats class before ever wandering into the casino, but that would cut into their money-losing time, I guess. That being said, this is a well-written and interesting session report. brbrImage br image owned by Anki Toner from Barcelona brbrTexas Calculatem – Poker Tool Reviewbrbr
